![]() However, our anytime dining wait was less than 10 minutes, and there were a few open tables, so it didn't seem like the MDR was overwhelmed with guests. I'm sure part of the service had to do with the ship being quite busy and us eating at MDR the first night. The food service we had on the Legend in MDR on was quicker and I really enjoyed the baked Alaska I had one night of that sailing (I think it was part of thier 50 yr celebration special so not offered on this cruise). The dinner food service was quite slow as well compared to our last rip on the Carnival Legend. The waiter forgot to enter my GFs drink so it didn't come out until we were having desert, he, of course, apologized. ![]() ![]() I wasn't a fan of it, but that probably had more to do with my preference than the quality of the cake. I did try an orange cake, which was new to me at least. Otherwise, I didn't notice too many menu changes (although my only other cruise was on the Carnival Legend last fall). I had the braised beef and mashed potatoes.
